After a period of time The bitch will then be transported to Tasmania and be well cared for up to and during her whelping. All planned transport costs are included in the price, as well as the required progesterone testing.</div> <bR> <div> The costs of the boarding, transport, vaccinations, registration, stud service, semen insertion procedure, dna fingerprinting, random veterinary expenses, and feeding of the pups up to 12 weeks of age, would tally on $8,000 allowing boarding.</div> <div> The whelping down will be paid via a pup from the litter to be chosen by the rearer at 12 weeks of age.</div> <div> This is done in order to provide a better price to the purchasing syndicate members.</div> <bR> <div> <B><U>*Not included/Risks</U></B></div> <div> Veterinary fees may be a surplus, ie sick pups needing vet care, emergency caesars, etc</div> <div> The risk of the bitch failing to get pregnant, meaning we get our stud fee back, but obviously lose the boarding fees, vet fees, etc.</div> <div> The risk of a small number of pups in the litter. Usually greyhound average 6 pups in a litter, and frozen semen averages are even higher.</div> <div> Death.
